The album Undaground Just us Two is nearing completion and should be available for download at quite shortly. We have just finished Saxomattic a track we are very pleased with, also we have just completed Beats and Breaks for Bikini Wax Records USA a track incorporating break beat with a house feel along with working on a remix of In The City with Manchester's very own Dust Music something we have been meaning to do for quite a while.Īre there any Montique & Aston CD's available? We are working on In The City a house and live guitar and percussion track. We just wished sometimes this project had been created earlier yet we then ask ourselves would we really have been ready for it and that is something we will really never be able to answer. If you could turn the clocks back, what do you think you might have done differently? Technology is also another aspect that also has its highs and lows and this also can be extremely frustrating yet we in our own lives have our ups and downs so we look upon our lows as challenges and hopefully we can learn from them. To be able to be taken seriously is something that can be very frustrating, yet that's sometimes the nature of the business we find ourselves in. To be able to just publish your music and receive feedback of a positive nature is something that spurs us on to achieve the goals in life we have set ourselves.Īnd on the down-side, how about the low points? Being able to write and compose something that we and other people enjoy to whatever degree is all the high we need. People's reactions are always a high and at BeSonic they come in all shapes and sizes! We have particularly enjoyed the feedback and comments we have received for our releases and it kind of spurs you on a lot of the time. What could you tell us about high points in your career?

Larry heard, Frankie Knuckles, Bert Bevans, Santana, Tony Humphries. What would you say have been your pivotal musical influences? it's the future! Keep the future alive and dance! it's the music we make and dance to and its not just a dream. Just to be able to take live percussion and blend it with house and techno beats while maintaining a truly unique sound quite unlike anyone else is what we are all about. The project has become something we are both very proud of. We were a little skeptical at first as to how things might turn out, but five years on, the Undaground journey has really only just begun. Our musical influences combined strictly house music with underground techno and so it really was only a matter of time before both styles evolved into what today is known as Undaground Recordings. The basic concept evolved when we met in a record store quite by accident in Coventry, England. Undaground Recordings was a natural step for us as djs and producers Montique & Aston.
